What are some of the Jewish religion's beliefs concerning profanity?

IN Judaism watching what we say when we speak is considered a extremely important. There is a statement in the Talmud that the mouth is pur major organ for praising G-d; therefore it is imperative that we should be careful that what comes out is not profane as that would sully our mouths for when we want to pray!
