Guitar effect help for song?

I am working on the Halo 2 theme (mjolnir mix) and several times in the song they use a "sustaniac" pickup to bring out the harmonics like mad. i can't afford the pickup for just 1 song but anyone know a way i can get that effect? i have a les paul standart with emg electronic pickups, and a 15w peavy vypyr modeling amp
