I recently priced a side job of replacing 64 sq ft of drywall ceiling @ $325.00. Is this too much?
You'll have about $35-$40 in material. If you use quick set spackling, you should finish in a day. Is $285 a day too much? It's really your decision. That's not bad bank if it's a side job. I'm a contractor and have comp and liability to pay, so I would price it a tad higher. Mostly because of the overhead. In other words it would have to be worth my while. If you are a drywall worker and wanna grab a few bucks for a days work on the side, your price is ok. If you really want it, call them and drop your price $25, maybe $50, but again it comes down to what's your time worth.
