My dog is getting really skinny?

i have a one year old what i think is a finnish spitz mix. she is very healthy and runs alot but she has been getting really skinny and idk why, she eats her food and doesnt look sick and my mama doesnt wanna take her to the vet until its time to get her yearly shots which is in march. what could be wrong with her?
