You can see by the predominate answers here why we are in serious trouble of collapse. Our education system indoctrinates propaganda instead of defending knowledge and culture, catering to political correctness instead of correct principles. Our country is teetering on the verge of inversion of the nature of government. Instead of the protector of individual rights, it will become the oppressor, instead of encouraging business efforts, discourage. Instead of freedom, slavery. Those entering slavery will do so willingly, thinking that they will be provided and cared for, not understanding that by their surrender that they will have forfeited all, thus completing a cycle of civilization. It might take years, perhaps thousands of years before the promise and premise of liberty can be re-secured, but one thing is certain, once freedom is lost, the cost of rescue will not be set in financial terms so much as in the cost of lives. Only a generation worthy of freedom will bear the vigilance to maintain it. It is with sadness I see my countrymen unwilling to burden themselves to defend the right and correct principles of political and economic freedom. They will not be educated and are so incompetent to provide for themselves that they will put on their slave irons themselves and beg for a master.
