What do u normally have to do in order to get into a fraternity?

First you go through the fraternity's rush, usually within the first few weeks of the semester. This is where you meet the brothers and get a feel of what the fraternity is like. If the brothers like you, they will invite you to a closed rush, usually involving a more intricate information session, interviews, etc. If they still like you after that, they will give you a bid to join the fraternity. Upon acceptance you begin your pledge period, varying for each organization. If you successfully complete pledging, you become initiated as a brother into the fraternity.
